Kannada's most popular actress Ramya had been facing lot of criticism about her behavior off late. However the actress in her recent press conference for "Sanju Weds Geetha" was completely calm and graceful. She said that she was taken back with the amazing story that director Nagashekhar narrated to her. She said that she should have worked with him before but she is happy that she has got to work with him now. She added that the role has lot of scope for her to display her talent on screen.

'Sanju Weds Geetha' is the dream project for comedian turned director Nagshekhar. According to sources, the script was prepared by the director much before his debut directorial venture 'Aramane'. Srinagar Kitty and Ramya play the lead. Kitty's wife Bhavana Belegere clapped for the movie.

he muhurtha of the Kannada film Sanju Weds Geetha was held at Kanteerava Studio Bangalore on Friday October 31. For the first time, actor Srinagar Kitty is teaming up with Golden Girl Ramya through this movie. Kitty attended its muhurtha after completing the shooting of movie Swayamwara in Mysore.

Aramane fame Nagashekhar is directing the movie Sanju Weds Geetha, which is a tribute to late Shanker Nag, the actor and director of Kannada cinema. The movie is produced by Murali Mohan and Pramod Narayan, who have earlier produced Haage Summane. Srinagara Kitty is shedding 15 kilos for this film.


Camera man Sathya Hegde captured the scene of muhurtha at Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore. A big set worth of 15 lakh was created under the art direction of Ismail for the shooting muhurtha. After completing the muhurtha, director Nagashekhar along with his film crew moved to Ooty for the shooting of the movie.

However, the crew will also shoot the movie Sanju Weds Geetha in the beautiful locations of Madikeri and return to Bangalore. The movie deals with the series of incidents that happened between 1996 and 2000, says director Nagashekhar.
